Drugs are chemicals that can alter the psychological state such as feelings, thoughts, moods and behavior when entered into the human body either by eaten, drunk, inhaled, injections, intravenous, and so forth.
Drugs can be classified into 3 (three) categories, namely:
1. Narcotics - to lose consciousness or feeling.
2. Psychotropic - affecting the psychic from the influence of the central nervous system selective brain
3. Drugs or dangerous substances
In terms of effect and its impact on drug users can be divided into 3 (three) classes / types:
1. Upper
Upper is a type of drug that makes the wearer become active as sabu-sabu, ecstasy and amphetamines.
2. Downer
Downer is a class of drugs that can make the person wearing the type of drug is so calm with a calm nature / sedatives such as sleeping pills (hypnotic) and anti-anxiety drugs.
3. Hallucinogens
Hallucinogens are drugs that are poisonous due to its toxic nature of the more prominent compared with medical uses.
